ORP 7099 RD

Redispersible polymer powder for dry mortars

About the product:
ORP 7099 RD is a redispersible powder prepared by drying an emulsion of a vinyl acetate/VeoVa/acrylic terpolymer with PVA as the protective colloid. The special chemical composition of the polymer promotes bonding of the redispersed polymer at low temperatures and ensures good adhesion to cementitious substrates.

ORP 7099 RD is used to modify mixtures containing hydraulic binders. Due to its special chemical/physical composition, ORP 7099 RD improves the adhesion, elasticity and water resistance of mortars containing hydraulic binders such as cement, gypsum or lime.

Properties:
Appearance: white powder
Chemical composition: VA / Acrylic copolymer
Stabilizer: polyvinyl alcohol
Residual moisture (%): maximum 1.5
Bulk density (g/l): 400 - 600
Ash content (%): 12 ± 2
Alkali resistance: high
After dispersion with water: 1:1
Minimum film forming temperature of the composition: 5±1

Areas of use:
C1 tile adhesives: Recommended dosages: 0.5 - 1.0%
C2 tile adhesives: Recommended dosages: 2.0 - 5.0%

Repair compounds:
With excellent adhesion, resistance and water resistance properties, ORP 7099 RD can be used in repair formulations at dosages of 1.0 - 2.0%.

Storage and shelf life:
Packing: pallet with 18 paper bags, each 25 kg, and also packing of 500 or 1000 kg in big bags is possible. Bags should be stored in a dry and cool place. Pallets should not be stacked on top of each other to avoid caking of goods due to the thermoplasticity of the polymer. The packaging must be closed to protect against moisture and powder sticking. The recommended period of application is 6 months after the date of delivery.
