Redispersible polymer powder for dry mortars

About the product:
ORP 5092 MP is a redispersible powder that is produced by drying an emulsion of vinyl acetate and acrylic copolymer with polyvinyl alcohol as a protective colloid. The special chemical composition of the polymer promotes polymer bonding at low temperatures and ensures good adhesion to cementitious substrates.

ORP 5092 MP is used to modify dry mortars that contain hydraulic binders. Thanks to its chemical composition, ORP 5092 MP improves adhesion. Thanks to its properties, the product improves the flexibility and impermeability of mortars containing cement, gypsum or lime.

Chemical composition: VA / acrylic copolymer
Stabilizer: polyvinyl alcohol
Residual moisture (%): maximum 2.0
Bulk density (g/l): 400 - 600
Ash content (%): 16 ± 2
Alkali resistance: high
After dispersion with water: 1:1
Minimum film forming temperature of the composition: 5 ±1

Areas of use:

tile adhesives:
Due to its strong bonding properties, ORP 5092 MP can be used to produce tile adhesive, it can fully meet the requirements of class C1 and C2.

Recommended dosage amount:
Tile adhesive C1: 0.5 - 1.0%
Tile adhesive C2: 2.0 - 5.0%

repair compounds:
With excellent adhesion and water resistance properties, ORP 5092 MP can be used in repair formulations at dosages of 1.0 - 2.0%.

Storage and shelf life:
Packing: Pallet with 18 paper bags, each 25 kg, also 500 or 1000 kg big bags are available. Bags should be stored in a dry and cool place. Pallets should not be stacked on top of each other to avoid caking of goods due to the thermoplasticity of the polymer. The packaging must be closed to protect against moisture and powder sticking.
The recommended period of application is 6 months after the date of delivery.
