Hisol CR 100 is a rheology modifier designed to build rheology in a wide range of formulations from inexpensive interior to semi-gloss. Gives properties and ease of application very similar in feel to HEC (hydroxyethyl cellulose), especially their hydrophobically modified types. However, it provides a much more economical alternative to these cellulosic thickeners.

Hisol CR 100 rheology modifier provides high thickening performance at medium shear rates and an excellent balance between sag and flow resistance.
Hisol CR 100 promotes high shear viscosity and provides a more uniform brush application than cellulosic thickeners.

Recommendations for use:
Because Hisol CR100 rheology modifier is an alkali shear emulsion, it requires a pH between 8 and 10 for effective thickening.

In the dispersion step, in the presence of a filler such as calcium carbonate, the alkaline nature of which is usually sufficient for the Hisol CR 100 rheology modifier to impart sufficient viscosity to the base for good dispersion without any further alkalinization of the base. However, after dispersion, if necessary, it is suggested to increase the pH to a level in the range of 8 - 10.

When adding rheology modifier Hisol CR 100 at the last stage, it is recommended to pre-dilute with water 1 to 1. In this case, the pH level should also be in the range of 8 - 10. Hisol CR 100 is supplied as a low-viscosity liquid, therefore it is easy to dose and pump .

Particularly suitable for liquid bulk storage applications and ideal for automated production lines.

Additional technical advice:
in most cases Hisol CR 100 can be added without dilution or pre-neutralization.

avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wear gloves and goggles when using the product.

Storage:
store in closed containers at a temperature of 5℃ - 40℃.
