Defoamer

Characteristic:
Densipol WO 2402 is an aqueous defoamer for emulsion coatings and adhesives based on hydrocarbonates and non-ionic surfactants. It is a liquid defoamer with a wide range of applications.
Densipol WO 2402 is effective throughout the manufacturing process and throughout the use of a product that contains polymer emulsions.
Does not contain silicone.

Application and dosage:
Densipol WO 2402 has excellent performance when used in products based on various types of emulsions, namely styrene-acrylic, acrylic, alkyd, styrene-butadiene, polyvinyl acetate.
The standard recommended dosage of Densipol WO 2402 in emulsion coatings is between 0.2% and 0.6% of the total product weight.

Recommendations for use:
Densipol WO 2402 can be added at the beginning of the production process to ensure proper dispersion, but it is recommended to add it in two stages, one part at the beginning (about 2/3) and the second part before the emulsion (about 1/3).

Efficiency:
Densipol WO 2402 is extremely effective with typical binders used in emulsion paints and adhesives. Tests show a marked reduction in the level of foam compared to foam with the untreated emulsion.
Densipol WO 2402 has been specially developed for products with high TCR (formulation solids).

When transported, Densipol WO 2402 is not classified as dangerous goods. For other product safety information, see the safety data sheet for that product.

During storage, the product should be protected from freezing, abnormally high temperatures and direct sunlight. Store at room temperature in original packaging. It is recommended to stir before use.

Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life is 1 year.
